Errore “(-2147467259): Failed to create Java Virtual Machine” in fase di cleanup o di pretraduzione di un file
Questo errore compare mentre si tenta di eseguire il cleanup o la pretraduzione di un file nel Workbench.
L’aggiornamento più recente a Java 6, Update 20, provoca questo errore.
Aumentare la memoria o disabilitare il plug-in di ultima generazione non ha alcun effetto.
È necessario disinstallare l’update 20 (1.6.0_20) da Start > Panello di Controllo > Installazione applicazioni Cambia/Rimuovi programmi e tornare alla versione precedente compatibile, ovvero update 17 (1.6.0_17).

Nuovo hotfix per il filtro di Java
L’hotfix è scaricabile dal sito talisma.sdl.com, dall’articolo 2579.
Il seguente articolo riporta la procedura di installazione dell’hotfix per il filtro di Java della versione SDL Trados 2007 Suite.
This hotfix addresses the following issue in TagEditor, Translator’s Workbench and SDLX:
- Java properties files encoded as ISO 8859-1 are encoded as UTF-8 when creating the translated versions of the files.
Explanation
SDL confirms these issues in the Java Properties filter that ships with SDL Trados 2007 Suite. A supported cumulative hotfix is now available from SDL. You can apply this fix to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.
Resolution
Until a permanent fix becomes available from SDL in a future update, you can apply the hotfix manually as follows:
Close all SDL Trados applications, including SDLX.
Download the ZIP file JavaProperties_Cumulative_Hotfix.zip from the attachments area of this KB article. The ZIP file applies to both Freelance and Professional editions of SDL Trados 2007 Suite and contains version 1.0.4.4 of the files JavaResourceFilter_1_0_0_0.xml and JavaResourceFilter1.0.0.0.jar.
Extract the ZIP file to a temporary folder of your choice, such as C:\temp.
Copy and replace the JavaResourceFilter1.0.0.0.jar file in the Translation Tools installation folder, by default:
SDL Trados 2007 Suite Freelance: C:\Program Files\SDL International\T2007_FL\TT\Filters\JavaResourceFilter
SDL Trados 2007 Suite Professional: C:\Program Files\SDL International\T2007\TT\Filters\JavaResourceFilter
Copy and replace the JavaResourceFilter_1_0_0_0.xml file in the All Users\Application Data installation folder, by default:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SDL International\Filters
After replacing the files and restarting SDL Trados TagEditor, SDL Trados Translator’s Workbench or SDLX, the issues described in this article should be solved.
Note
Important: All installations of SDL Trados 2007 which are used in the translation supply chain must be updated to use the same version of the filter.
Microsoft Vista
On Microsoft Vista the path to the filters is by default C:\Users\All Users\SDL International\Filters\. Users need administrator rights to be able to access it.

Errore Multiterm “Null” e “Java.lang.NullPointerException”
Vuoi modificare un termine in un tuo database, ma non appena entri in modalità Edit compare questo errore:
Se clicchi su OK, compare questo errore:
Per risolvere il problema, clicca su OK e chiudi tutte le applicazioni di Trados.
Vai nel Pannello di Controllo => Java => Avanzate => Plug-in Java => elimina il flag da “Abilita il Plug-in Java di nuova generazione” poiché impedisce il corretto funzionamento del Multiterm.
Riapri Multiterm ed il database interessato. Ora puoi apportare le modifiche necessarie.
